I have the 90W and 180W Mother Keeper LEDs. I use them in a vegetation room during the seedling stage right up to time to flower - at which point I move the plants to the flowering room. The plants love these lights. And, the node spacing is much tighter than with an MH light.
So, in addition to being a great choice to use for your mothers, the MK LED can also be used through the vegetation stage.
I also wanted to point out that flourescents were supposed to be much cooler than HID lights - but, in reality, I found that in a watt-to-watt comparison, the T5 flourescents produce just as much heat. I'm happy to report that the LEDs don't add any appreciable heat to the room and that makes my set-up that much easier to maintain.

I think these lights are great, as advertised. I only have four mothers, about two feet tall, in a hydroponic setup, almost ten square feet. I am using two of these lights over that space, which may be overkill, but my plants are extremely healthy with very prolific chutes for cuttings. Both of the original lights I purchased ended up being sent back because half of the diodes failed in each unit after a couple of months. The customer service has been excellent (Doug), and both units were replaced in rapid fashion without any cost to me. Both replacement lights have been fault free. Hey, you cannot beat their free trial period, and based on my experience, you cannot beat their performance.
